End Of Semester Blog

As I am finishing up my second semester of my freshman year of college, and wrapping up my digital portfolio class, I reflect upon everything that I have learned. From the very basic information about what's on the internet is on the internet for good to using the internet to get a job. Overall, I have expanded my knowledge tremendously about how the internet can be used in different ways.

For my final class, we learned teamwork and collaboration and using outside resources by working in groups and trying to figure out a small task that we were given without directions. My group was challenged to create a soccer goal score keeper with the Microsoft Makecode microbit. We built the goal using the cardboard and tape, and then hooked up the tinfoil that was put on the goal to the microbit and then made the code online. Within my group, we worked together to accomplish the goal! You can read more and visually see what was done by reading up on the article, "Micro:bit Electro Football" that we found on Pinterest to help us complete our project.

I have learned all about my digital footprint, how to create a PLN, reaching out and getting in touch and finding things in common with people in my field. I am going to take everything that I have learned over the past couple months and use It to my advantage. I am going to show my next potential bosses that I understand and know what is going on with certain situations and how I can show myself professionally online.
