Want to 'wow' your future employers? Chapter 4 in "Light, Bright, and Polite, for parents and teens" by Josh Ochs,  talks about social media posts and strategies that impress future employers.

• be authentic and professional
• Ochs talks about how you want to be yourself while posting and sharing things online, but at the same time you still want to make sure that everything is what you want everyone seeing while they search your name. "always consider an outsider's perspective before you share socially or voice an opinion" (Ochs, 2015). 
• writing skills
• make sure that everything you are posting is formal, spelled correctly, has all of the right grammar and punctuations. You want to seem professional while posting online. No text talk. "less is sometimes more" (Ochs, 2015).
• show you've thought about your future
• while posting online, you should consider having different accounts for your personal preference and your professional preference, being their is no wrong in having both. 
• demonstrate you know how to work, unafraid to get your hands dirty.

• while posting online, post about how you are a determined, hard worker. How you enjoy working and are willing to put in all the time and dedication to get a job done. showing you volunteer is also a great post to post. 

In class this past week, we Skyped with the vice president of communications of the Philadelphia 76ers, Dave Sholler. Dave Sholler is an alumni of Stockton University, and is know pursing his dreams working for the 76ers. Sholler had an inspiring story following up to where he is today. He gave amazing tips and lessons on how to never stop doing what you love to do. He also gave stories of the struggles that he had been through and how even through It all, he kept pushing and in the end, turned out amazing. 

In class we also learned how to create commercials using websites. Pixton, animoto, Powtoon, are different websites in which you can create a commercial for whatever you need, and its easy and mostly free too! Powtoon is a great app, easy to use, very fun to use as well since you basically can create It from scratch and add whatever you would like into It. I made a Powtoon about the physical therapy major at Stockton University!
